Dear Sir or Madam,
How many GP's who have retired but continued to practice, since
2004, have had their entry on the performers list removed and had
to reapply?

Dear Mr Kumar
Request for information
Thank you for your request for information about retired GPs who
continue to practice.
We are handling your request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.
You asked:
How many GP's who have retired but continued to practice, since 2004,
have had their entry on the performers list removed and had to reapply?
How many GP's who have retired but continued to practice, since 2004,
have had their entry on the performers list amended and not had to
reapply?
I regret to tell you that we do not have this information. GP contracts
are administered on behalf of PCTs in north-east London by the Family
Health Services consortium. While staff at the consortium have access to
the current status of GPs, and so can tell whether or not they are
retired, they are not able to produce historical reports. They are
therefore unable to provide us with a list of GPs who have retired since
2004. We would need such a list in order to compare it to amendments to
the performers list so as to answer your questions; without it we
cannot.
I am sorry that I cannot help you on this occasion, but hope that you
understand that it is in the nature of computer systems for apparently
simple queries to sometimes be unanswerable.
If you are dissatisfied with how your request has been handled, you can
