How do the PCT deal with retiring GP's who continue to practice. Dear Mr. Kumar, since 1st January 2004 practitioners do not have to reapply to stay on the performers list, they remain on it unless they are removed... Successful.

Dear Sir or Madam,

I submitted a Freedom of Information request on 18th May 2008. My
request was as follows.

How many GP's who have retired but continued to practice, since
2004, have had their entry on the performers list removed and had
to reapply?

How many GP's who have retired but continued to practice, since
2004, have had their entry on the performers list ammended and not
had to reapply?

A response was due by 17th June 2008, under the Freedom of
Information Act, but has not been received. I would be grateful if
you could give this matter your full attention.
