Dear Sir or Madam,
Thank you for your prompt response. It is the changes to the State
Pension mentioned in that White Paper that I am specifically
interested in, and when the relevant committee was first formed.
I hope this clarifies the position.
Yours sincerely,
Michael Dobson

Dear Sir or Madam,
The White Paper indicated that qualifying years for the full State
Pension were to be reduced to 30. I would like to know when this
proposal was first raised internally as an option, either by the
Cabinet Office or the DWP.
Many thanks
Yours sincerely,
Michael Dobson

Dear Sir or Madam, Thank you for your latest reply regarding the
time frame within which to search. I have no idea what the time
frames were, so could you please just start searching forwards from
the earliest document you have on the White Paper? Also if you
could let me know what this date is that would be useful too.
Many thanks
Yours sincerely,

Dear Sir or Madam, Re your response of Oct 16th, noting that a
further delay of 10 days will be required, in order to decide
whether publication of the answer would possibly be detrimental to
the public interest, under section 35 (1) (a) and (b). I am
obviously disappointed by a further delay to my original request of
Aug 23rd, but will await your next response before deciding on the
internal review that you mention.
Yours sincerely,
Michael Dobson

Dear Sir or Madam,
I don't understand why your previous reply to me was to check
whether your response would be in the public interest (ie the date
when the Cabinet Office was first aware of the possible reduction
in contributory pension years), when you now tell me that you don't
have any info anyway. Why not just say that last time? Perhaps you
could kindly explain this to me before I formally request the
internal review.
Yours sincerely,
Michael Dobson
