Dear Sir or Madam,
I would like to know the circumstances under which Career
Development Group were given the contract to run the New Deal
Intense Activity and Gateway schemes for Jobseekers, and the cost
to the public purse resulting from this.
In particular, I would like to know what assurances were given to
the Department about the experience, background and qualifications
of CDG staff, their employment policies for support staff, and the
relevance and quality of services provided to jobseekers.
I would also like to know if the Department is aware of, fully
understands and approved the implementation of the "Goals"
motivation programme
Yours faithfully,
Lynne Aldridge

Dear Hyde Leanne DWP SHEFFIELD MAYFIELD COURT,
As per my original letter, was the contract given to CDG on the
basis of training offered to jobseekers, the qualifications and
experience of their staff, and the breadth and scope of the work
placement programme?
How much money do CDG receive per jobseeker and how much did they
propose to spend?
Yours sincerely,
Lynne Aldridge
